In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Preschool STEM Institute has been postponed until July 9, 2021.

​The Preschool STEM Institute will be led by the EC STEM Lab in collaboration with the 60th Anniversary ETSU Center of Excellence Early Childhood Education Conference

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

​The Preschool STEM Institute is a 1-day, interactive professional learning experience for anyone else responsible for supporting preschool educators. The content of the training will be focused on supporting STEM teaching and learning for 3-to-5-year-olds.  

Attendees will receive materials, books, handouts to copy, and electronic files to facilitate their own training and support of preschool teachers upon return to their home districts, centers, or organizations. 

In addition, during the 2021-2022 school year, attendees will be asked, 1) to train and/or coach preschool teachers in their home centers or districts, and 2) to attend at least two follow-up virtual sessions with Institute staff.​
